Experienced Accounting Associate
Manage client portfolios, prepare financial statements and tax filings, and advise business owners at EXCO. The role combines accounting work with digital tools and collaboration with the office’s chartered accountant.
Opis
- Oversee a varied client portfolio, from sole proprietors and agricultural businesses to tradespeople and commercial companies.
- Prepare VAT returns, annual accounts, and tax packages.
- Compile balance sheets and present annual accounts to clients with the chartered accountant.
- Handle additional assignments such as dashboards, financial forecasts, and performance indicators.
- Prepare personal income tax returns.
- Use digital tools to help clients monitor their accounts and organize administrative work.
- Advise and support business owners.
- Coordinate with the office manager and chartered accountant.
Zahteve
- Degree in accounting or a related field, at bachelor’s (three-year) or master’s (five-year) level.
- At least five years of experience in a comparable position.
- Accounting-firm experience is preferred.
- Agricultural accounting and agricultural profits tax experience are advantageous.
- A curious, organized, and methodical approach.
- Strong interest in digital tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
