Business Data Analyst, Insurance Data Management
Analyze and transform insurance data for EXL’s data management operations. Develop source-to-target mappings, lineage records, data models, and design documents.
Opis
- Bridge technical and business teams to support data management work.
- Consult client subject matter experts to understand business functions and data.
- Profile data to assess quality and identify critical data elements.
- Standardize reference and master data across systems.
- Prepare data mappings, lineage documentation, data models, and design documents.
- Help stakeholders understand data mappings and transformations.
Zahteve
- 3–6 years of experience analyzing, mapping, and transforming data in large-scale data applications.
- Experience with Snowflake and at least one relational database.
- Experience creating business requirements documents and gathering requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication and tracking skills.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience creating source-to-target mappings (STTMs).
- Exposure to data consolidation, transformation, and standardization.
- Experience with clients in the property and casualty insurance domain.
- Knowledge of policy and claims lifecycles and reinsurance business.
- Ability to join a team quickly and work independently toward shared goals.
- Knowledge of Data Vault 2.0 and data modeling is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree.
