Working Student AI & Data Analytics in Commercial Insurance

As a working student at Provinzial, you will develop AI-enabled assistance functions for commercial liability underwriting. Your work will cover risk analysis, prompt optimization, and quality assurance across business, IT, and data teams.

Descriere

  • Identify practical AI opportunities with underwriters, including text and document analysis, information processing, and risk-data structuring
  • Help design, test, and improve AI-powered assistance features from business-requirement definition through operational use
  • Convert underwriting needs into clear, actionable specifications for IT, data, and AI teams
  • Create and refine prompts and AI use cases for commercial insurance and liability operations
  • Check AI-generated outputs for functional quality, plausibility, completeness, and usefulness in underwriting
  • Help the business unit adopt AI through examples, prompt templates, knowledge-sharing sessions, and short workshops

Cerințe

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Law, or a comparable discipline
  • Strong interest in applying artificial intelligence to insurance operations
  • Basic familiarity with modern AI applications such as large language models, AI assistants, or retrieval-augmented generation, or a clear willingness to learn
  • Able to explain complex business and technical topics clearly to different audiences
  • Analytical, independent, and careful when working with data and information
  • Approachable, curious, and comfortable collaborating with business, IT, data, and AI colleagues
  • Prior exposure to generative AI, prompt engineering, data or process analysis, or insurance is helpful but not essential
  • Open to digital technologies and responsible AI use, with the motivation to contribute to change and keep developing your methods and knowledge
