Senior Sustainability Executive – Allianz Malaysia
Advance Allianz Malaysia’s sustainability strategy through ESG governance, regulatory compliance and integration across the business. Coordinate committee operations, performance reporting, stakeholder engagement and low-carbon transition initiatives.
Descriere
- Oversee implementation of Allianz Malaysia’s sustainability strategy and management of its ESG impacts.
- Develop, maintain and apply local sustainability frameworks, policies, guidelines and operating procedures.
- Put the sustainability framework into practice, including ESG due diligence screening.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and Allianz Group requirements, and coordinate remediation of identified gaps.
- Align, facilitate and monitor sustainability initiatives and integration throughout the organisation.
- Prepare progress and achievement reports on sustainability integration for management and the Board.
- Track strategy, initiatives and projects against agreed scope, deliverables, targets and timelines.
- Analyse results and raise performance anomalies with management.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement and preventive or corrective actions with initiative and project owners.
- Support the secretariat lead for the Sustainability Committee, Special Sustainability Committee and ESG Taskforce.
- Set committee terms of reference, schedules and agendas; administer meetings, record minutes and track follow-up actions.
- Research, analyse and benchmark sustainability strategies, business models and targets.
- Advise on ESG enquiries and surveys from internal and external stakeholders.
- Handle departmental administration and regional sustainability coordination, including duties as Privacy Champion, Data Steward and Business Continuity Management Coordinator.
Cerințe
- Hold at least a degree in Business Administration, Sustainability or an equivalent field.
- Preferably have at least three years of experience in a similar function.
- Bring strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Work independently, show resourcefulness and manage multiple tasks.
- Adapt effectively to a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate a growth mindset, strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Communicate exceptionally well in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Have strong project management and teamwork skills.
- Be highly proficient with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
- Experience in insurance or financial services is an advantage.
