Senior Software Engineer – United States Remote

Descriere

  • Build and maintain scalable end-to-end UI and API test automation with Playwright and TypeScript across multiple product areas
  • Create Python and REST API tools for automated data generation and synthetic applicant profiles
  • Develop React and TypeScript interfaces that help vendors and government stakeholders create test scenarios and track pipeline status
  • Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines with quality gates and feature-based promotion workflows
  • Lead scheduled sprint triage to investigate failures in a complex multi-vendor environment
  • Determine whether failures originate from cloud changes, vendor releases, or test configuration issues
  • Deliver constructive guidance through code reviews and one-to-one mentoring
  • Define strong coding standards and consistent engineering practices
  • Act as a technical point of contact for client leaders and external vendors
  • Assist with Terraform-based cloud infrastructure changes
  • Integrate automated security scanning and support ongoing compliance in FedRAMP and Public Trust environments

Cerințe

  • At least five years of professional experience building full-stack applications and engineering tools with TypeScript and Python
  • Hands-on experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code platforms such as Terraform
  • Background designing complex systems that integrate with external services, databases, and third-party APIs
  • Demonstrated success working on cross-functional Agile teams
  • Ability to estimate complex engineering work
  • Experience communicating technical progress directly to client stakeholders
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for complex distributed failures involving multi-vendor applications and microservices
  • Previous work on federal digital services or civic-tech initiatives
  • Familiarity with AWS GovCloud
  • Familiarity with FedRAMP compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with observability tools
  • Experience building synthetic test-data generators or sophisticated mock-data services for enterprise integrations
  • US work authorization
  • Ability to satisfy additional requirements associated with applicable government contracts
  • Work authorization that will not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Willingness to undergo a government background check or security clearance when required by the contract
  • Residence in the continental United States
  • Ability to meet contracts that generally require at least three years of recent US residency within the past five years
