Descriere

  • Set control, protection, and integration strategies for HVDC and AC substation projects
  • Lead and develop a geographically distributed team of more than 50 Secondary Engineers across multiple sites
  • Direct the design, development, and integration of control and protection systems for high-voltage DC and AC substations
  • Own and enhance the Control & Protection Design process
  • Plan resources, optimize subcontractor engagement, and introduce development plans to close capability gaps
  • Develop effective partnerships with internal and external engineering stakeholders
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support smooth project delivery
  • Oversee project budgets, contribute to tendering, and define performance measures
  • Encourage knowledge sharing and the adoption of engineering best practices
  • Lead the complete Secondary Engineering lifecycle from tendering and design through final integration

Cerințe

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline
  • At least 15 years of engineering experience in EPC environments within Transmission & Distribution
  • Demonstrated success leading large engineering teams of 50 or more, including remote and multi-site teams
  • Advanced expertise in substation control-system design, electrical distribution, ancillary services, and applicable industry standards
  • Extensive experience with HVDC technology, ACS, FACTS, and digital control systems
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including stakeholder presentations
  • Ability to perform under pressure, prioritize safety and quality, and deliver on schedule
  • Fluent English; German proficiency is advantageous
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Advanced knowledge of HVDC and AC substation control and protection systems
  • Proficiency with digital control-system software, electrical distribution, telecommunications, and monitoring solutions
  • Familiarity with standard engineering tools and project management methods
  • Ability to manage design budgets and support tender processes with emphasis on safety, quality, and compliance
