Senior Python Software Engineer, Cloud and Data
Build secure Python services, cloud applications, and data pipelines for Software Mind’s global clients. Connect business systems with shared data layers, dashboards, and planning tools.
Descriere
- Join a client’s data science and product team, working with business stakeholders
- Turn Lovable prototypes into secure, production-ready services on Cloud Run
- Develop backend and middleware services with authentication, audit trails, and secure document storage
- Create and orchestrate feeds from Salesforce and external data providers into the canonical data layer, dashboards, and planning tools such as Pigment and Anaplan
- Automate recurring reporting and analysis, including scheduled data centralization and quarterly metrics with manual overlays
- Take responsibility for the security of delivered systems
- Review AI Skills used by business teams from a technical perspective
- Record decisions and processes in READMEs, runbooks, and architecture notes
- Explain technical trade-offs to nontechnical stakeholders and raise risks and sequencing concerns
- Keep work within the scope assigned to this team.
Cerințe
- Approximately 4–7 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong production Python skills for services and data pipelines, including testing and CI/CD
- Deep cloud experience with compute, managed databases, serverless services, and IAM; GCP preferred, with AWS or Azure also accepted
- Broad full-stack capability, strongest in APIs and middleware, with the ability to make React/TypeScript front-end changes without a designer
- Data engineering experience ingesting APIs, databases, and file extracts; orchestrating workflows, preferably with Airflow; and using SQL, ideally alongside NoSQL, and schema design
- Demonstrated ability to take prototypes or AI-generated code into production and own services end to end, including deployment, monitoring, and documentation
- Practical service security experience, including authentication, least-privilege IAM, secrets management, input validation, audit logging, dependency hygiene, and secure document storage and retention
- Ability to work autonomously and commercially with ambiguous briefs, unfamiliar systems, and undocumented tables
- Experience integrating Salesforce or planning platforms such as Pigment and Anaplan
- Knowledge of canonical or dimensional data modeling
- Exposure to LLM workflows and prompt evaluation
- Experience with Lovable or Supabase
