Senior IT Implementation Engineer
Lead the transition of ambulatory surgery centers to AMSURG’s managed IT services, assessing their systems and coordinating support handoffs. Design secure Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud solutions, and document networks and infrastructure.
Descriere
- Partner with center and IT leaders to plan and transition support to AMSURG’s Managed IT Services Team
- Assess existing systems and workflows at surgery centers
- Develop transition plans and communications
- Hand off services and document environments for operational support by IT Service Delivery
- Design Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions to migrate on-premises systems to the cloud
- Build working relationships with Operations Leads, Center Leaders, and current IT providers
- Assess center IT security and offer guidance
- Review IT contracts and offer guidance
- Visit sites to assess, document, and plan migrations
- Document center configurations and systems
- Explain AMSURG IT Services’ offerings and value
- Architect, build, and secure Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions, including Virtual Networks, Virtual Machines, and Virtual Network Gateways
- Monitor Azure subscriptions to keep solutions within budget guidelines
- Coordinate with current IT providers to gather information for handoff to Service Delivery
- Assess IT equipment against company standards and recommend replacements
- Assess and document networks and dependencies, including VPN connectivity, VLANs, and vendor equipment
- Assess and document server infrastructure and line-of-business applications
- Carry out other duties as assigned
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
- Relevant work experience may substitute for a degree
- At least 7 years of IT experience in an enterprise environment
- Project management experience
- At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
- Experience administering, architecting, and managing systems
- Server management experience
- Experience managing VMware ESXi and/or Microsoft Hyper-V Server hypervisors
- Network infrastructure experience
- Knowledge of risk assessment tools, systems, and application architecture
- Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations
- Ability to write business correspondence
- Ability to present information and respond to questions professionally
- Ability to identify and define problems, gather data, establish facts, draw sound conclusions, and correct errors
- Ability to understand and interpret basic financial data
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and attentive to detail
