Senior Frontend Engineer (React) — Texas Remote

Descriere

  • Lead frontend architecture and React/TypeScript implementation for the product
  • Turn product designs and interactive prototypes into production-ready user experiences
  • Design reliable patterns for complex multi-step workflows, including forms, conditional logic, validation, autosave, resume functionality, loading states, error handling, and recovery
  • Collaborate with the Senior Backend API Engineer on API contracts, data structures, error handling, and client-server responsibilities
  • Define component architecture, state-management approaches, routing, form strategy, and frontend standards
  • Create secure, role-aware experiences for clients and attorneys
  • Embed AI-powered functionality into product workflows
  • Own frontend performance, accessibility, responsive behavior, browser compatibility, and production quality
  • Define testing practices for critical components and user workflows
  • Review code, establish frontend standards, and mentor the existing frontend developer

Cerințe

  • Professional experience delivering React and TypeScript applications with complex user workflows
  • Experience shaping frontend architecture for products with substantial application state and backend-service integrations
  • Strong command of component architecture, state management, forms, routing, and maintainable frontend practices
  • Experience developing multi-step or workflow-driven applications with validation, conditional logic, persistence, recovery, and clear error handling
  • Understanding of frontend authentication and role-aware interfaces, including backend enforcement of protected controls
  • Experience collaborating with backend engineers to define API contracts and data structures
  • Strong practices in accessibility, responsive design, browser compatibility, and frontend performance
  • Experience creating automated frontend tests for critical components and user workflows
  • Ability to review code, establish frontend standards, and guide other frontend developers
  • Ability to work independently as the senior frontend React engineer on a greenfield product and make sound architectural decisions
  • Preferred: Experience designing frontend experiences for AI-enabled workflows
  • Preferred: Experience building payment, client intake, or other state-sensitive workflows
  • Preferred: Experience handling sensitive client data or working in a regulated environment
  • Preferred: Experience partnering closely with product and design teams to turn prototypes into production applications
  • Preferred: Experience in the legal industry or legal technology
