- Lead and mentor Northeast region Spend Managers.
- Develop sourcing and spend optimization strategies that support organizational goals.
- Strengthen client partnerships and improve the effectiveness of Vizient’s group purchasing organization.
- Work with stakeholders to put category strategies into practice.
- Coordinate with the Spend Management Delivery team and align work with client priorities.
- Build and lead a high-performing team that addresses client challenges.
- Partner with Spend Executives and senior leaders to align support with client workplans and improve client satisfaction.
- Oversee implementation of strategic programs, including Impact Standardization and Novaplus.
- Use Vizient tools, systems, and resources effectively to increase client value.
- Coach Spend Managers on Quarterly Business Reviews and category strategies.
- Provide skill-building sessions for Spend Managers.
- Lead performance improvements that reduce waste and embed leading practices.
- Recommend improvements to standard work and automation.
- Ensure consistent adoption of standard work across the team.
- Contribute to the Spend Manager training curriculum.
- Manage team performance, budgets, and financial results.
Cerințe
- A relevant degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in performance improvement, operations, or healthcare is required.
- Demonstrated leadership in building high-performing teams, coaching talent, and supporting growth through collaboration and partnership.
- Executive presence and a track record of presenting to and working with senior management.
- Strong project management, facilitation, and interpersonal skills to lead complex initiatives and deliver results.
- Strategic, independent thinking and the ability to align initiatives with client and organizational priorities.
