Senior Design System Designer, Spain (Remote)

Lead scalable design systems for OLX Group’s real estate products from Spain. Shape reusable components, tokens, documentation, and AI-assisted workflows across Figma and production code.

Descriere

  • Build and refine reusable design-system components, patterns, and foundations
  • Define component behaviour, states, and variants alongside engineers
  • Manage and improve the process for proposing and releasing new components
  • Guide design work from initial problem framing through documentation and handover
  • Use research findings and team feedback to guide system decisions
  • Produce specifications and documentation for variants, edge cases, and usage
  • Partner with engineers on token strategy and Figma-to-code integration
  • Balance immediate product requirements with the system’s long-term coherence
  • Help product design teams identify gaps and strengthen systems thinking
  • Apply AI-assisted tools to research, prototyping, and component definition
  • Prepare tokens, documentation, and reusable patterns for AI-supported workflows
  • Use professional judgment to assess and override AI-generated work when needed
  • Take part in recruiter screening, portfolio assessment, and AI sandbox challenge interviews

Cerințe

  • Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining design systems at scale
  • Experience operating or contributing to a contribution model, or a well-reasoned approach to establishing one
  • Strong technical fluency with the ability to translate design decisions into code
  • Sound judgment when weighing consistency against necessary exceptions
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to explain system decisions to stakeholders
  • Comfort using AI-assisted tools and enthusiasm for practical applications
  • A portfolio showing strong product and systems thinking with shipped results
  • Hands-on Figma experience with component libraries, variables, and tokens
  • Experience creating built or coded prototypes
  • Track record of partnering with engineers on high-quality, scalable delivery
  • Experience or strong interest in AI-assisted design or development workflows
