Descriere

  • Analyze credit risk, liquidity management, and related data from front-office trade capture and reference data systems.
  • Collect operational data from teams across the business to assess past performance.
  • Spot patterns and trends in data.
  • Turn findings into insights for business planning, process improvement, and evaluating solutions.
  • Partner with technology teams to design and deliver fixes for data issues.
  • Explain data requirements and the effects of reported issues to data consumers using the DCRM tool.
  • Update data concerns in the DCRM tool.
  • Recommend actions that support future development and strategic opportunities.
  • Propose operational policy improvements based on data findings.
  • Carry out exploratory, confirmatory, and qualitative analyses.
  • Translate data into customer behavior insights to inform targeting and segmentation.
  • Present findings clearly to business partners and senior leaders.
  • Improve processes and strategies by assessing new data sources, tools, and capabilities.
  • Work with internal and external partners to develop, implement, track, and improve decision strategies.
  • Consider risk to the firm, including reputational risk, in business decisions.
  • Protect Citi, its clients, and its assets by supporting compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Follow Citi policy and apply sound ethical judgment in conduct and business practices.
  • Escalate, manage, and report control issues transparently.
  • Take on formal or informal leadership duties and coach junior colleagues.

Cerințe

  • Bring 4–5 years of data analytics experience with financial markets data and products.
  • Have at least one year of experience scripting in SQL or Python.
  • Have hands-on experience analyzing data with Excel, Tableau, SQL, and Python.
  • Understand how firms manage credit and market risk for trading book activity.
  • Know financial market structures and products, including OTC derivatives, securities financing transactions, exchange-traded derivatives, and cash trading.
  • Work confidently with large datasets and demonstrate a strong grasp of logical data structures and analytical methods.
  • Bring experience in data tracing, mining, visualization, analysis, pattern and trend identification, exploratory analysis, root cause analysis, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
  • Have experience working across global teams and influencing stakeholders with varied backgrounds.
  • Show urgency and manage competing priorities while delivering results efficiently.
  • Have prior experience focused on analytics in financial services.
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Present to business partners or leaders to secure approvals.
  • Manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or have equivalent relevant experience.
  • A master's degree is preferred.
