Senior Analytics Analyst, Consumer Bank – Hyderabad Hybrid

Descriere

  • Lead end-to-end Consumer Bank analytics covering acquisition, deposit balances and fund flows, customer segmentation, product adoption cohorts and vintage analysis, attrition, and retention.
  • Support marketing campaign analytics through targeting, performance measurement, test-and-learn programs, and incremental impact assessment.
  • Partner with U.S.-based analytics and business stakeholders in finance, treasury, marketing, product, digital, and customer experience.
  • Create analytical datasets with SQL and SAS, then conduct exploratory and in-depth analyses.
  • Surface trends, opportunities, and potential risks through quantitative analysis.
  • Build and manage KPIs, dashboards, and recurring reports.
  • Produce clear visualizations and presentations that explain analytical findings.
  • Maintain data quality, governance, compliance, and documentation standards across analytical deliverables.
  • Generate business insights through focused deep-dive analysis.
  • Complete projects accurately, compliantly, and within agreed timelines.
  • Clarify requirements and communicate effectively with stakeholders and internal team members.
  • Develop analytics and data science solutions using varied data tools, software, and techniques.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline plus 2+ years of relevant hands-on analytics experience, or 4+ years of relevant work experience in place of the specified degree.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on SQL or SAS experience, including independently building queries for data extraction and aggregation.
  • Understanding of core finance concepts and processes, with the ability to translate them into quantitative attributes and metrics.
  • Ability to define analytical methodologies, present findings to broad audiences, and influence decisions.
  • Experience analyzing large and complex datasets.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, including data analysis and storyboarding.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently develop analytical solutions for business problems.
  • Hands-on experience with SAS, SQL, and Tableau.
  • Experience with open-source tools such as R and Python is advantageous.
  • Exposure to AWS, Amazon Redshift, SageMaker, S3, Glue, or comparable cloud analytics and data platforms is advantageous.
  • Experience in consumer banking, retail banking, or financial services is desirable.
  • Understanding of macroeconomic conditions.
  • Must be located in Hyderabad or one of Synchrony’s designated anchor cities, available between 6:00 AM and 11:30 AM Eastern Time, and able to work from the office or travel periodically to a Regional Engagement Hub for in-person collaboration.
