Quantitative Analyst, Index Operations – Cboe Global Markets (Chicago Hybrid)

Support Cboe Global Markets’ U.S. equity and derivatives indices through calculation, rebalancing, dissemination, modeling, and operational controls. Partner with internal teams, vendors, and clients to resolve issues, improve processes, and support index launches and daily operations.

Python

Descriere

  • Maintain Cboe U.S. indices for real-time and end-of-day calculations.
  • Track index delivery and distribution to ensure timely, accurate availability.
  • Calculate and disseminate U.S. equity- and derivatives-based indices.
  • Investigate and resolve issues with internal Cboe teams and external parties.
  • Execute periodic Cboe U.S. index rebalances and assist clients with related events.
  • Complete validation activities, including daily value reporting and corporate action and dividend monitoring.
  • Apply the Incident Management Process, document issues, join learning reviews, and recommend risk controls.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and simplify index operations, then develop supporting tools.
  • Coordinate with Cboe teams, vendors, and third parties on new index launches and enhancements.
  • Support clients through onboarding, inquiry resolution, and price challenges.
  • Keep detailed standard operating procedures for recurring daily activities.
  • Maintain KPI, alert, and validation-monitoring data.
  • Contribute to technical and methodology change-management activities.
  • Run daily replication and calculation models and troubleshoot them when necessary.
  • Build knowledge of theoretical options pricing and complete basic modeling exercises.
  • Handle other related responsibilities as assigned or requested.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of experience in financial markets or a related field.
  • Experience with derivatives is advantageous.
  • Use a disciplined, operations-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Intermediate experience with R, Python, or another object-oriented programming language is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex modeling problems and debug issues.
  • Ability to interpret mathematical index methodologies and apply them in practical situations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, including solid written communication.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently or collaboratively while proactively advancing assignments and solving problems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
