Principal Clinical Database Systems Programmer

Descriere

  • Build and maintain clinical data collection systems through SAS or SQL programming.
  • Create tailored data listings, reports, visualizations, and EDC study databases.
  • Own study specifications and lead clinical programming across one or more studies.
  • Work with biostatisticians to define requirements and shape study data and database designs.
  • Develop standard and custom programs and reports with SAS, Tableau, and other visualization tools.
  • Lead EDC database programming, testing, and migration of CRFs, edit checks, and dynamics in platforms such as Veeva Vault and Medidata Rave.
  • Coordinate with clients, colleagues, programmers, project teams, and requestors to finalize data specifications.
  • Help develop and maintain clinical data review standards, tools, and systems spanning clinical, safety, and operational data.
  • Contribute to Data Management and Clinical Programming initiatives, discussions, meetings, and database development.
  • Support electronic data imports and integrations from external sources and vendors, including transfer and specification coordination.
  • Review and approve study materials such as design specifications, user requirements, transfer specifications, and data standards.
  • Guide and train department colleagues in data review tools and clinical database development.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science, computer systems, or information technology.
  • Five to seven years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology settings.
  • Advanced expertise in databases, EDC platforms such as Medidata Rave and Veeva, data integrations, and visualization tools such as Tableau or Spotfire.
  • Python programming experience is an advantage.
  • Strong programming and analytical skills with SQL, BASE/SAS, SAS/STAT, and SAS macros.
  • Ability to work independently on standard datasets, edit checks, and high-quality data review outputs.
  • Understanding of CDISC and SDTM requirements and implementation guidance, including creating and validating standard datasets.
  • Knowledge of ICH Good Clinical Practice and Good Clinical Data Management guidelines.
  • Travel under 10% to BridgeBio headquarters or Biometrics/Data Management meetings, as needed.
