Lead IT Software Category Manager – Hybrid

Descriere

  • Lead negotiations and contract or license management with IT stakeholders and advisory partners.
  • Oversee software category initiatives from usage forecasting through contract execution, savings realization, and detailed tracking.
  • Deliver strategic sourcing activities spanning vendor evaluation, negotiations and awards, contract management, supplier relationships, implementation, governance, compliance, approvals, analytics, reporting, and procurement operations.
  • Resolve assigned IT procurement escalations with internal teams, suppliers, and Managed Service Providers.
  • Refer complex or high-risk matters to senior category leaders when appropriate.
  • Manage IT software procurement administration, including contract reviews, approvals, and tactical tracking.
  • Contribute to standard procedures and ongoing process-improvement efforts.

Cerințe

  • At least five years of procurement experience, preferably in strategic sourcing, contract management, strategic sourcing initiatives, or a corporate environment.
  • At least three years of IT technology category experience, preferably involving software or IT-related labor.
  • Strongly preferred experience in software sourcing.
  • Experience managing VARs or resellers.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders across IT, Finance, Legal, Cybersecurity, and business teams.
  • Ability to independently manage sourcing initiatives, prioritize work, and carry activities through completion.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Finance, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Legal, or another quantitative discipline.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel.
  • Demonstrated contract negotiation skills.
