Descriere

  • Develop engagement activities for volunteers, friends, and service partners across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand
  • Coordinate operational communications, including newsletters and urgent updates during crises
  • Collaborate with internal teams to share local stories while keeping Orange Sky’s mission and values at the centre
  • Write communications for major projects, service launches, and awareness events
  • Apply Orange Sky’s brand identity and tone of voice across campaigns and communications
  • Administer communication platforms, including Campaign Monitor
  • Maintain communication data, follow best practices, and prepare reports
  • Protect brand integrity and contribute to improving communication processes
  • Provide administrative assistance to support smooth operations
  • Report to the Marketing and Communications Specialist

Cerințe

  • One to two years of marketing or communications experience, or a relevant Business, Marketing, Communications, or Journalism degree for a first post-university role
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to adjust tone for different audiences and strategic objectives
  • Experience engaging diverse stakeholders, including volunteers, service partners, and friends
  • Familiarity with email marketing, project management, and design tools such as Canva
  • Confidence writing communications for varied channels and situations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork
  • Genuine energy, empathy, and commitment to Orange Sky’s mission
  • Receptiveness to feedback and enthusiasm for learning
  • Not-for-profit experience is helpful but not required
  • Willingness to complete a standard background and criminal record check before starting
