Descriere

  • Apply edge cloud computing to automate complex, repetitive tasks for users adopting cloud technologies
  • Develop multitenant SaaS applications designed for scalability and large data volumes
  • Expand the product portfolio supporting more than 200 cloud applications
  • Contribute to product design, development, and launch from concept through broad customer adoption
  • Direct the engineering department and oversee its operations
  • Partner with development, support, implementation, internal teams, vendors, and clients
  • Advise the CEO and CTO as a technology and business subject-matter expert
  • Coordinate multiple engineering projects to meet schedule and budget targets
  • Lead engineers and resolve or guide technical challenges
  • Work with product, design, and customer support teams
  • Maintain coding standards, engineering best practices, and security protocols
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage engineers and support staff
  • Assess and recommend technologies and development methodologies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and partners
  • Manage the complete software development lifecycle for developers and testers in an agile environment
  • Lead efficient client implementations and deliver secure, defect-free technical solutions
  • Establish career paths, training plans, performance reviews, corrective actions, and compensation reviews
  • Create engineering department standards and operating procedures
  • Recommend implementation practices for product upgrades
  • Measure, evaluate, and communicate engineering progress and outcomes

Cerințe

  • Practical Java development experience
  • Experience with Bootstrap and jQuery
  • Experience working with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
  • Background in modular software development
  • Experience designing multitenant architecture and highly scalable systems
  • At least 8–10 years of experience demonstrating the required engineering skills and competencies
  • BSc or BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Hands-on experience with full-stack architecture
  • Advanced knowledge of Docker containers, Kubernetes cluster management and orchestration, microservice architectures, and DevOps practices and tools
  • Prior engineering leadership or people-management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to select implementation approaches and methodologies using established guidelines and best practices
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies
  • Successful end-to-end delivery of at least two projects
  • Availability for the U.K. shift from 1:30 PM IST to 10:30 PM IST
