Data Engineer in Singapore (Onsite)

Descriere

  • Create and implement scalable capabilities for data ingestion, transformation, and distribution
  • Develop and maintain data platforms, datasets, and reusable data products
  • Design logical and physical data models suited to each use case and platform standard
  • Increase the availability, performance, observability, recoverability, and cost efficiency of data services
  • Automate data operations, quality checks, deployments, and maintenance processes
  • Develop and operate data pipelines with modern orchestration technologies
  • Use sound engineering practices to strengthen data quality, lineage, and reliability
  • Work with business stakeholders to clarify information needs and service expectations
  • Coordinate with Solution Engineers and Solution Architects on integrations and solution architecture
  • Partner with source-system and downstream teams to resolve data-quality and interface problems
  • Build access controls, security, privacy, retention, and governance into data services
  • Keep data processing aligned with approved lineage, quality, and operational-control standards

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a quantitative field preferred
  • At least three years of experience in data engineering, solution engineering, or database development, preferably in financial services
  • Proven ability to build data pipelines and platforms with strong programming and SQL skills
  • Clear communicator who works effectively as part of a team
  • Hands-on expertise with relational databases, data warehouses, and SQL
  • Advanced knowledge of Snowflake
  • Practical experience with ETL technologies and data-pipeline orchestration
  • Understanding of business intelligence, such as Qlik, and advanced data analytics concepts
  • Advanced programming ability in Java and/or Python
  • Experience with AWS services including RDS, Fargate, and Glue
  • Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code
  • Experience working with SAFe, Kanban, or Scrum
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with Apache Airflow and Control-M
  • Experience with React and TypeScript
  • Experience with Kafka, Amazon SQS, and Amazon Kinesis
