Clinical Research Coordinator

Descriere

  • Conduct home-based and on-site study visits
  • Provide participant incentives and recruitment materials
  • Speak with potential participants to assess their interest in research
  • Explain consent procedures verbally to participants
  • Carry out study protocols
  • Review and synthesize research literature
  • Help code interview data
  • Manage IRB submissions, amendments, continuing reviews, and reports of adverse and serious adverse events
  • Organize and maintain sponsor or CRO records, including case report forms, source documents, study and regulatory binders, and subject binders
  • Oversee entry of information into study datasets
  • Gather, document, and maintain data and source records
  • Prepare manuscripts and research findings for presentation
  • Provide administrative support for research activities
  • Attend weekly study progress meetings with the principal investigator and research team
  • Travel between study visit locations
  • Take on additional duties as assigned

Cerințe

  • Bachelor of Science and 2 to 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of federal regulations and guidance for clinical studies and human subject protection
  • Ability to manage IRB submissions and renewals in line with FDA and IRB guidelines
  • Ability to ensure compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to collect, document, and maintain data and source records
  • Follow University of Pennsylvania, ICF, and FDA guidelines, as well as NIH policies
  • Background checks may be required after a conditional job offer
