Descriere

  • Shape differentiated, technically sound, executable solutions for a complex federal government program.
  • Advise delivery leaders and executive stakeholders on technical and strategic matters.
  • Turn requirements into solutions aligned with evaluation criteria and measurable customer outcomes.
  • Contribute to next-generation development on an integrated product team.
  • Integrate AI/ML capabilities hosted on AWS Cloud.
  • Work directly with senior government customers and internal leaders.
  • Apply knowledge of Navy weapon systems and platforms.
  • Design extensible software architectures with open interfaces and integration across systems.
  • Build AI/ML capabilities for the development lifecycle and customer use cases.
  • Design cloud-native services and integration patterns.
  • Develop RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, microservices, and containerized systems.
  • Deliver Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and software distribution.
  • Build fault-tolerant, concurrent, high-throughput distributed services.
  • Apply cloud security, compliance frameworks, and Zero Trust patterns.

Cerințe

  • An active Secret security clearance.
  • At least 16 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, 14 years with a master’s degree, or 10 years with a Ph.D.
  • At least 10 years of directly related software engineering experience spanning requirements analysis, development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • At least three years of software integration and testing experience, including creating and implementing test plans and scripts.
  • At least four years of software development using one or more modern languages suited to cloud-native services, such as Python, Go, Java, or TypeScript.
  • Agile development experience with Scrum or SAFe methodologies.
  • Experience building modern information management applications with complex workflows, intuitive interfaces, and highly concurrent operation.
  • Proficiency with REST, JSON, HTTPS APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, and frameworks such as FastAPI, React, and Tailwind.
  • Strong executive presence and skills in writing, presenting, facilitation, and relationship building.
  • Technical writing experience, including producing technical documents for software development projects.
  • Preferred: Experience working with the U.S. Navy and NAVAIR.
  • Preferred: Experience building fault-tolerant distributed systems across unreliable networks.
  • Preferred: Applied experience using LLMs, agentic AI, and RAG in customer use cases and solutions.
  • Preferred: Applied experience with AI-assisted coding in a software engineering lifecycle.
  • Preferred: Proficiency in lifecycle automation, including Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, automated testing, security compliance, deployment, and continuous monitoring.
  • Preferred: Expertise in microservices development and container orchestration, such as Kubernetes.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of security and compliance practices, RMF, and Zero Trust.
  • Preferred: Expertise in cloud architecture design and development with Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure.
  • Preferred: At least three years developing software on UNIX/Linux, strong Linux fundamentals, and proficiency in a scripting language such as Python or Bash.
