Descriere

  • Own the end-to-end technical architecture for Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations
  • Design scalable, secure, and maintainable Business Central solutions spanning finance, operations, manufacturing, distribution, and service management
  • Establish architecture standards, governance processes, and technical best practices
  • Produce high-level and detailed technical solution designs
  • Lead technical design authority and architecture review sessions
  • Align solutions with Microsoft's recommended architecture patterns
  • Complete development work within agreed budgets and delivery timelines
  • Build interfaces between Business Central and external applications
  • Create workflows and reports
  • Provide technical direction across implementation and upgrade programmes
  • Advise development teams on AL extensions, integrations, and customisations
  • Assess solution designs, code quality, and development practices
  • Coach consultants and developers in the Business Applications Practice
  • Support capability building and technical community initiatives
  • Set integration strategies connecting Business Central with Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, Azure Integration Services, third-party applications, and data and reporting platforms
  • Design API, middleware, and event-driven integration architectures
  • Lead customer workshops and architecture sessions
  • Contribute across the full project lifecycle, from presales and requirements gathering through fit-gap analysis, solution design, build, testing, go-live, and support
  • Develop effective relationships with business and technical stakeholders
  • Partner with functional consultants on technical deliverables
  • Convert business requirements into practical technical solutions
  • Present architecture recommendations to executive and senior leadership teams
  • Serve as a technical escalation point during project delivery
  • Support solution envisioning workshops
  • Contribute to statements of work, estimates, and delivery approaches
  • Take part in RFP responses and client presentations
  • Help identify opportunities for additional Microsoft technologies and services
  • Coordinate and contribute to end-user training

Cerințe

  • At least five years of experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions
  • At least two years of experience serving as a Solution Architect or Technical Architect
  • Advanced expertise in Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Advanced AL development skills
  • Advanced experience with extensions and customisation
  • Advanced knowledge of Business Central administration
  • Strong release management experience
  • Experience delivering large-scale ERP implementation programmes
  • Experience designing integrations with REST APIs, Web Services, Azure Integration Services, and Power Platform
  • Strong knowledge of security architecture, environment strategy, performance optimisation, disaster recovery, and governance
  • Experience working directly with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Power Platform, Azure Services, Microsoft Fabric, and Copilot technologies is desirable
  • Experience in a Microsoft Partner or consultancy environment is desirable
  • Experience with TOGAF or a comparable architecture framework
  • Exposure to enterprise architecture governance processes
  • Strong consulting and client-facing capabilities
  • Commercially aware and focused on measurable outcomes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Confident leading architecture discussions and making technical decisions
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach
  • Commitment to continuous learning and Microsoft technologies
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to business audiences
