Descriere

  • Lead the analysis and design of PODS’s enterprise information architecture
  • Create an integrated view and roadmap for technology strategy, business processes, and information systems
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to align solutions with company objectives and mission
  • Produce information architecture blueprints aligned with functional roadmaps
  • Promote effective information architecture design and governance across IT and business teams
  • Initiate and coordinate complex technology evaluations, proofs of concept, and prototypes
  • Map and document data flows across the technology environment
  • Develop and evaluate data models for analytics and reporting
  • Define master, reference, and structural data standards with governance teams
  • Collaborate with solution architects on data integration and service architectures
  • Define architecture designs and required changes based on business drivers and capabilities
  • Set and document enterprise application architecture standards across platforms and engineering teams
  • Map enterprise information models to packaged applications and evaluate vendor solutions
  • Ensure information architecture addresses business data and information needs
  • Document infrastructure architecture environments and operating procedures
  • Develop data architecture blueprints with multi-year transition and modernization recommendations
  • Maintain an enterprise-wide data view across business systems through re-engineering
  • Assess user information requirements and design supporting data structures
  • Advance MDM, metadata management, analytics, content management, data integration, and information infrastructure solutions

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems analysis, or a related field
  • At least 12 years of enterprise experience in data architecture, database design, or business intelligence
  • At least 7 years of experience working as a Data Architect
  • Experience in a private-sector organization with 300 or more employees or a government agency with 500 or more employees
  • Enterprise architecture certification such as TOGAF or ZF is preferred
  • Expertise and hands-on experience with MDM, business intelligence, and data warehouse design and implementation
  • Knowledge of industry-standard middleware, ETL, master data hubs, and service-oriented architecture delivery
  • Experience with BI and analytics architectures, including traditional warehouses, distributed computing, NoSQL, virtualization, or data streaming
  • Experience defining cloud information architectures using technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Snowflake, Azure SQL, Cassandra, and Cosmos
  • Experience with ERWin or another industry-standard modeling tool for OLTP and OLAP data models and implementations
  • Understanding and practical experience with domain modeling, business process data flows, business information models, entity flow diagrams, common information models, and MDM
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Stack
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, and Snowflake
  • Knowledge of and hands-on experience implementing master and reference data management, data quality, metadata management, and data governance
