Android Mobile Frontend Developer

Build a digital financial product for a financial-services client as an Android developer. Use native Kotlin development, modular architecture, and Server-Driven UI.

Descriere

  • Build and enhance mobile features that integrate with the client’s other applications.
  • Develop native Android applications with Kotlin.
  • Create responsive, fluid interfaces that follow the product’s UX and UI standards.
  • Build reusable components within a modular, pluggable architecture.
  • Implement components and user journeys using Server-Driven UI principles.
  • Interpret backend configurations and contracts to render dynamic interfaces.
  • Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs and services.
  • Manage application state, caching, local persistence, and data synchronization.
  • Design error handling for service outages and connectivity issues.
  • Maintain the performance, stability, and responsiveness of user journeys.
  • Apply mobile security practices suited to financial-institution environments.
  • Create unit and integration tests while supporting automated testing strategies.
  • Contribute to code reviews and technical standard-setting.
  • Partner with Backend, Architecture, QA, Product Owner, and UX/UI teams.
  • Help evolve the mobile architecture and shared components over time.
  • Support observability, monitoring, and mobile application failure analysis.

Cerințe

  • Experience building native mobile applications.
  • Proficiency with Android, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose and/or Android Views.
  • Understanding of mobile architectures such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, or comparable approaches.
  • Experience integrating applications with REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of JSON and data serialization and deserialization.
  • Experience with asynchronous programming and concurrency management.
  • Understanding of mobile application modularization.
  • Proficiency with Git and version control strategies.
  • Experience with unit and automated testing.
  • Experience applying CI/CD to mobile development.
  • Understanding of the Android application lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of Google platform development and user experience guidelines.
  • Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect is a plus.
  • Knowledge of JWT and secure token management is a plus.
  • Knowledge of secure information storage on mobile devices is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Android Keystore is a plus.
  • Knowledge of certificate pinning is a plus.
  • Knowledge of biometric authentication is a plus.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices is a plus.
  • Knowledge of OWASP Mobile Application Security is a plus.
  • Experience in digital banking, fintech, or payment solutions.
  • Experience with Server-Driven UI.
  • Experience with Super Apps.
  • Knowledge of modular and pluggable architectures.
  • Experience with high-scale, business-critical applications.
  • Knowledge of feature flags and remote configuration.
  • Experience with mobile application observability and monitoring.
  • Experience with financial products, payments, and digital wallets.
