- Build and enhance mobile features that integrate with the client’s other applications.
- Develop native Android applications with Kotlin.
- Create responsive, fluid interfaces that follow the product’s UX and UI standards.
- Build reusable components within a modular, pluggable architecture.
- Implement components and user journeys using Server-Driven UI principles.
- Interpret backend configurations and contracts to render dynamic interfaces.
- Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs and services.
- Manage application state, caching, local persistence, and data synchronization.
- Design error handling for service outages and connectivity issues.
- Maintain the performance, stability, and responsiveness of user journeys.
- Apply mobile security practices suited to financial-institution environments.
- Create unit and integration tests while supporting automated testing strategies.
- Contribute to code reviews and technical standard-setting.
- Partner with Backend, Architecture, QA, Product Owner, and UX/UI teams.
- Help evolve the mobile architecture and shared components over time.
- Support observability, monitoring, and mobile application failure analysis.

- Experience building native mobile applications.
- Proficiency with Android, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose and/or Android Views.
- Understanding of mobile architectures such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, or comparable approaches.
- Experience integrating applications with REST APIs.
- Knowledge of JSON and data serialization and deserialization.
- Experience with asynchronous programming and concurrency management.
- Understanding of mobile application modularization.
- Proficiency with Git and version control strategies.
