Descriere

  • Maintain the Mosaic animal management database and support data integrity.
  • Assist with ethics protocol management.
  • Create and review online training materials.
  • Train and guide staff and students.
  • Support animal movements, orders, sales and deliveries across UQ campuses as needed.
  • Conduct asset stocktakes and maintain equipment and asset registers.
  • Coordinate equipment movements.
  • Support office administration systems and workflows.
  • Provide specialised administrative support to the Director and Administration Manager.
  • Liaise with stakeholders.
  • Support billing, reporting, record management and general operations.
  • Support day-to-day administration and coordination.?
  • Maintain operational records and assist with compliance activities.

Cerințe

  • Hold a degree with limited relevant experience, an advanced diploma with at least one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education or training.
  • Demonstrated experience in administration and coordination.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience maintaining databases, ensuring data integrity, and supporting and training users.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated initiative and sound judgement, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Understanding of animal research, including accurate data collection, compliance and record keeping.
  • Knowledge of relevant Animal Ethics, Biosafety, Biosecurity and Workplace Health and Safety requirements, or ability to acquire it quickly.
  • Unrestricted Australian work rights for the duration of the appointment.
  • Satisfactory medical clearances and participation in ongoing health monitoring procedures and control measures are required.
  • Working with laboratory animals is an inherent requirement of the role.
  • A resume and cover letter are required.
