  • Define the architecture and technical direction for Keylane’s Axon SaaS platform
  • Turn complex business needs into durable software solutions
  • Partner with software engineers, product owners, business analysts, test engineers and other architects
  • Maintain architectural integrity across important product areas
  • Assess complex problems, dependencies and technical risks
  • Steer teams toward scalable, secure, maintainable and fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Support solution design, review critical implementations and address complex technical issues
  • Record architectural decisions and the trade-offs behind them
  • Strengthen platform consistency by turning architectural principles into engineering standards
  • Lead modernization work, reduce technical debt and improve performance, reliability, testability, operability and developer experience
  • Explain architectural decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Build alignment across Scrum teams and functional clusters
  • Investigate responsible applications of Claude, ChatGPT and Codex in architecture and engineering
  • Review AI-generated recommendations while retaining responsibility for security, correctness, performance and maintainability
  • Help teams use AI-assisted development tools effectively and responsibly
  • Share expertise, mentor engineers and advance architectural practices throughout the organization
  • Foster experimentation, constructive technical discussion and continuous improvement
  • Work across clusters with architects responsible for other Keylane products
  • Coordinate architectural principles, standards and strategic technology decisions across the organization

Prasības

  • Strong interest in software architecture and engineering
  • Significant software-engineering experience with large, business-critical systems
  • Solid command of architecture principles, design patterns, modularity, integration patterns, APIs and data architecture
  • Current awareness of technology trends and the ability to judge their value for the organization and product
  • Strategic architectural perspective paired with a pragmatic, hands-on style
  • Comfort working directly with engineering teams and source code
  • Ability to assess scalability, performance, security, reliability, maintainability, testability and operational consequences
  • Skill in identifying architectural risks, dependencies and technical debt and converting them into practical recommendations and improvement plans
  • Experience with Java, IntelliJ, Git, Gradle, Angular and Docker
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL, including DB2 and PostgreSQL
  • Clear communication of complex technical topics, alignment building and documentation of decisions, context, alternatives and trade-offs
  • Enjoyment of coaching engineers and offering architectural direction in an Agile setting
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, GitHub Copilot or Cursor
  • Ability to describe how AI tools can support solution exploration, unfamiliar-code analysis, code and test development or improvement, troubleshooting and code reviews
  • Understanding of AI-assisted development as part of the wider software development lifecycle
  • Ability to direct coding assistants with precise requirements and context, including reusable instructions, skills or agents where appropriate
  • Ability to critically review, test and debug AI-generated code and detect faulty assumptions, security vulnerabilities and maintainability concerns
  • Accountability for the logic, architecture, quality and security of delivered work
  • A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and reference check are included in the application process
  • Willingness to complete information-security training and meet basic information-security responsibilities
