BlueCat is seeking a Development Lab Administrator to build and manage virtual lab environments for its enterprise network operations platform. The role covers network scenario deployment, system configuration, and product capability testing.

Apraksts

  • Create and maintain product lab environments
  • Support hands-on testing of products and associated solution stacks
  • Work with internal stakeholders to define requirements and deliver functional environments for lab users
  • Deploy virtual machines that model network topologies and scenarios
  • Install, activate, and configure software
  • Apply patches and upgrades to maintain current environments
  • Design approaches for more realistic simulation and testing
  • Work with product leaders to document testing requests and develop test plans
  • Conduct detailed feature, capability, and functional testing at the product level
  • Document and communicate test results
  • Support product management and other stakeholders with additional lab, software, and business activities

Prasības

  • At least three years of experience in a related technical role, such as IT support, customer support engineering, DevOps, or product management
  • Experience administering VMware environments
  • Experience configuring Windows and Linux systems
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, packet capture, DNS, and DHCP
  • A technical degree or relevant certifications, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Cisco, or VMware
  • Comfort collaborating across time zones and cultures in a global organization
  • Strong research capabilities
  • Ability to use AI to gather, organize, and integrate results
  • Writing samples that demonstrate clear communication of complex technical concepts
  • An entrepreneurial, adaptable, results-focused, and proactive approach
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own direction
  • Strong organization and attention to detail while handling multiple projects
  • A collaborative attitude and openness to professional discussion and feedback
  • Curiosity about the company’s product portfolio
