Apraksts

  • Lead enterprise teams responsible for data transformation operations.
  • Use software engineering and DevOps practices to maintain large-scale enterprise data layers for analytics and machine learning on Google Cloud.
  • Apply product thinking and Agile practices to improve data platforms, deliver capabilities, address gaps, and automate solutions.
  • Oversee department operations and supervise employees, vendor resources, and business support staff.
  • Recruit, staff, coach, and develop team members.
  • Create shared service practices for transformation and operations supporting analytics and AI/ML solutions in the Operational Data Lake and related systems.
  • Oversee enterprise data transformation operations, planning, demand management, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and build productive relationships.
  • Create policies and procedures to meet defined goals.
  • Contribute hands-on to software development, project management, cross-functional coordination, and team communications.
  • Build agreement across teams and deliver results.
  • Work through the software development lifecycle with developers, quality engineers, product managers, and other teams.
  • Manage delivery timelines, surface issues, and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Secure the resources needed to execute projects.
  • Work with Cloud Platform teams to standardize data loading, deployment, and monitoring operations.
  • Ensure employees follow compliance requirements, organizational governance, and technology Center of Excellence guidelines.
  • Explain complex information clearly and concisely across audiences and communication channels.

Prasības

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience managing teams of 10 or more, including full-time, contract, and/or vendor staff.
  • At least 8 years of experience with big data systems, data lakes, and analytics, including management of build and run teams.
  • Knowledge of data movement and cloud data warehouse technologies, including Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and Google Cloud Storage.
  • Experience managing teams and service delivery in an offshore delivery center for a multinational company is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum methods and artifacts, including definitions of done, user stories, showcases or demos, story estimation, and backlog refinement.
  • Ability to support employees' professional development and career progression.
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills.
  • Experience with DevOps and Agile practices is preferred.
