Client Due Diligence Analyst (FTC) - Singapore

Nomura is seeking a Singapore-based Client Due Diligence Analyst for its wealth management operations. The role covers KYC reviews, AML controls, documentation checks, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.

Apraksts

  • Serve as a liaison and subject matter expert for IWM Front Office rolling and event-triggered reviews.
  • Perform KYC controls for wealth management clients and counterparties.
  • Review client documentation, conduct name screening, and maintain static data.
  • Complete periodic and event-triggered client reviews.
  • Track case progress and coordinate with Front Office, Financial Crime Compliance, and Business Management teams.
  • Evaluate client risk and apply risk-based approaches.
  • Accurately and promptly validate and update client information and documents in relevant systems.
  • Maintain reliable data feeds for internal systems and internal or regulatory reporting.
  • Revise KYC procedures and implement operational changes required by policy.
  • Identify system and process improvements that strengthen controls and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to deliver system enhancements.
  • Support risk mitigation, scalable processes, metrics-led management, and client service initiatives.
  • Contribute to automation and control enhancement projects.
  • Work with Front Office, Operations, Compliance, and Legal teams to safeguard clients and protect the Bank.

Prasības

  • At least two years of relevant experience in wealth management KYC operations or compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements issued by MAS and other major Asian regulators.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to assess risk types associated with individuals, private companies, and corporations.
  • Strong document validation capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to succeed in virtual, collaborative team environments.
  • Integrity and a strong work ethic.
  • Vigilance in identifying and promptly escalating potential compliance risks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Knowledge of or experience with Power BI, Python, Alteryx, AI, LLM, or NLP is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with KYC and document processes, including system updates, due diligence, document validation, and uploads; three to five years of experience is required.
