Aprašymas

  • Build and maintain software architectures and applications for automated test stations.
  • Turn system requirements into software specifications in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Enhance software performance, usability, and integration.
  • Deliver project tasks and work packages to meet technical, schedule, and customer needs.
  • Maintain requirements traceability and follow development standards.
  • Coordinate technical discussions with colleagues and internal customers.
  • Clarify requirements, interfaces, and design decisions for relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare user guides, technical specifications, design records, release notes, and related documentation.
  • Write maintainable code in multiple languages, including object-oriented languages such as C++.
  • Take part in peer reviews and promote sound engineering practices and continuous improvement.
  • Support hiring, develop future team leaders, strengthen retention and engagement, and encourage an inclusive workplace.

Reikalavimai

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics from an accredited institution.
  • At least two years of software development experience, preferably with embedded or aerospace software, contributing hands-on to software design, implementation, and testing.
  • Knowledge of software development and verification processes, including requirements traceability, structured peer reviews, test coverage analysis, formal problem reporting, and requirements management tools.
  • Proficiency with Visual Studio .NET development.
  • Experience with C++ or C#.
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio workload setup, diagnostic tools, extensions, and code profiling.
  • Experience with source control and development toolchains such as SVN, Git, DOORS, ClearQuest, or CI pipelines.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship required by contract.
  • Hands-on test automation and automated test equipment experience is valued.
  • Experience with avionics and communications interfaces such as ARINC 429, IEEE-1394, MIL-STD-1553, UART, RS-422, and fiber-optic systems is valued.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems or hardware-software integration is valued.
  • Strong Python skills are valued.
  • An active U.S. Government security clearance of Secret or higher is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and show initiative.
