Clinical Research Coordinator

Coordinate participant screening, study visits, data collection, and regulatory tasks for clinical research at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine.

Aprašymas

  • Screen and enroll participants for clinical studies.
  • Administer study measures during participant visits.
  • Conduct visits at participants’ homes and on site.
  • Support data entry, interview coding, and preparation of data summaries and reports.
  • Join weekly study progress meetings with the principal investigator and research team.
  • Coordinate IRB submissions and renewals in line with FDA and IRB guidance.
  • Follow study protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Collect, document, and maintain study data and source records.
  • Uphold good clinical practice in clinical investigations.
  • Speak with prospective participants to assess their interest in research.
  • Guide participants verbally through the consent process.
  • Carry out study protocols.
  • Enter information into study datasets.
  • Distribute materials used to recruit study participants.
  • Travel between study visits.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Reikalavimai

  • A bachelor of science degree and one to two years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with federal regulations and guidance for clinical studies and human subject protection.
  • Knowledge of FDA and IRB guidance.
  • Ability to coordinate IRB submissions and renewals.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • A background check may be required after a conditional offer.
