Technical Business Analyst - Romania Remote
Technical Business Analyst responsible for API-enabled digital insurance products at Accesa.eu. The role covers product backlogs, requirements, integrations, UAT, application support, and continuous improvement for financial-sector clients.

- Define and deliver digital product requirements aligned with business goals and operational excellence in the financial industry.
- Manage a transparent, prioritized product backlog and roadmap.
- Evaluate business value, risks, dependencies, and operational limitations when making decisions.
- Facilitate discovery workshops and assess current-state processes.
- Design improved future-state solutions, process flows, user journeys, data flows, API requirements, and system interactions.
- Connect business stakeholders with technical teams by clarifying business, functional, and integration needs.
- Assess system interactions and identify integration requirements.
- Specify APIs through data mappings, request-response flows, and expected system behavior.
- Work with developers and architects to plan and deliver integrations.
- Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, API use cases, and test scenarios.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers.
- Assemble requirements packages and verify that delivered solutions meet expectations.
- Assist with API and system-integration validation, integration testing, and analysis of API responses and errors.
- Support UAT, training, communications, and user adoption for new capabilities.
- Provide continuing application support and investigate recurring issues.
- Use operational insights to drive process and application enhancements.

- At least three years of experience in business analysis and/or product ownership.
- Demonstrated success delivering enterprise solutions.
- Experience adapting effectively across changing roles and contexts.
- Practical experience with APIs and system integrations.
- Ability to interpret API documentation, endpoints, request and response structures, authentication, error handling, and data mappings.
- Experience converting business needs into functional and integration requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and system interaction diagrams.
- Familiarity with Postman, Swagger, or OpenAPI.
- Experience leading discovery work and defining business processes.
- Confidence working across complex stakeholder environments.
- Experience assessing solution options, third-party integrations, value, feasibility, and cost.
- Ability to break down complex business and integration requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery milestones.
- Experience coordinating UAT cycles and encouraging adoption.
- Strong operational focus, including post-release support, user interaction management, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Regular use of AI tools to increase productivity, automate or reduce repetitive tasks, support decisions, and improve output quality.
- Ability to use AI responsibly, write effective prompts, critically assess generated content, recognize limitations, and remain accountable for final outcomes.
