  • Handle daily accounting and bookkeeping for multiple client accounts
  • Classify and enter transactions in QuickBooks Online and other cloud accounting platforms
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, balance sheet, and other accounts
  • Support month-end close and the preparation of accurate financial statements
  • Prepare and post accrual, depreciation, payroll adjustment, and other journal entries
  • Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and client-specific issues
  • Keep financial records accurate and organized, including cleanup and historical accounting work
  • Collect financial records and supporting documents for tax, advisory, and other client requirements
  • Work proactively with Accounting Managers and teammates to answer questions, obtain missing information, and maintain progress
  • Coordinate multiple client accounts, priorities, and deadlines
  • Help document processes and improve accounting workflows and internal systems
  • Complete additional accounting assignments and projects as directed by the Accounting Manager
  • Report to an Accounting Manager while collaborating with the accounting team on daily client needs

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred; an associate degree or substantial relevant accounting experience may be considered
  • Approximately 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Solid knowledge of accrual accounting and monthly close procedures
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and the ability to learn other cloud accounting platforms
  • Ability to investigate and resolve accounting problems independently
  • Strong experience with reconciliations and journal entries
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, priorities, and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting while collaborating effectively
  • Proactive, solution-focused, team-oriented approach
  • Experience with multi-entity businesses, sales tax compliance, certified payroll, insurance retainage, or other accounting platforms is a plus
