  • Provide loan-level support, prompt responses, detailed guidance, and legal analysis to staff and clients.
  • Help staff prepare pleadings and supply templates.
  • Work with leadership to identify process improvements.
  • Keep up with relevant case law and bankruptcy code developments in assigned jurisdictions.

  • Hold an active bar license in the state of hire and be a member in good standing.
  • Be admitted, or eligible for admission, to all bankruptcy courts in the state where you hold active bar membership.
  • Have experience representing creditors in bankruptcy proceedings in the state of hire, or be willing to build bankruptcy expertise.
  • Work congenially and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Bring excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to ongoing change.
  • Communicate exceptionally well in writing and verbally.
  • Be located in South Carolina.
  • Prepare for the opening of the Charleston office as part of the Bankruptcy Attorney role.
