  • Develop OpenAI’s B2B ecosystem and go-to-market data science capabilities
  • Translate unclear commercial questions into evidence, recommendations, and operational decisions
  • Frame B2B and go-to-market challenges as focused plans for execution
  • Lead strategic analyses covering international expansion, monetization, product adoption, customer segmentation, field deployment, ecosystem dynamics, and organizational design
  • Examine product usage, customer behavior, adoption trends, sales and field activity, pipeline and revenue indicators, and market conditions
  • Collaborate with leaders across GTM, Revenue, Product, Finance, RevOps, Strategy, and Data Science
  • Convert findings into prioritization choices, field strategies, investment decisions, and operating rhythms
  • Present complex analysis to executives and cross-functional stakeholders, including recommendations, assumptions, and tradeoffs
  • Apply modern AI tools to speed analysis, synthesize evidence, improve workflows, and inform business decisions
  • Help establish the operating model for OpenAI’s developing B2B data science function

  • Senior-level experience in data science, product analytics, decision science, growth analytics, strategy analytics, or a comparable quantitative discipline
  • Sound business judgment and a record of turning ambiguous analysis into actionable decisions
  • Background in B2B, go-to-market or commercial strategy, monetization, product growth, or similarly complex business challenges
  • Strong analytical fluency with SQL, Python, or equivalent tools for answering open-ended business questions with data
  • Ability to connect product, customer, sales, revenue, market, and operational data
  • Consulting-oriented problem solving, including framing broad questions, finding high-impact analyses, navigating uncertainty, and delivering practical recommendations
  • Strong executive communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous, rapidly changing environment
  • Practical fluency with AI and curiosity about emerging AI tools
  • Experience combining strategy consulting with technology data science, or working in a consulting analytics practice, is advantageous
  • An advanced degree is welcome but not required
