Youth Community Coordinator (Onsite)

Support at-risk and displaced youth through service planning, crisis assistance, and behavioral and permanency goals. Coordinate with foster parents, staff, and community teams while working in office, home, and community settings.

Description

  • Support service goals for at-risk or displaced youth up to age 17
  • Act as a liaison among foster parents, staff, and the community team
  • Maintain a safe setting while advancing behavioral and permanency goals
  • Manage schedules and related coordination
  • Lead and train other staff members
  • Provide crisis support when needed
  • Coordinate administrative staff activities
  • Collaborate effectively while also working independently
  • Work from the Vancouver, WA office and travel up to 75 miles to community and home settings when supporting staff
  • Work directly with youth as required

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of direct experience working with youth or two years of education in social services
  • Clear criminal history and successful completion of a background check
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain both within 30 days of hire
  • Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and automobile insurance
  • TB test completed within seven days before the first workday or before working onsite, whichever comes first
  • Weekend availability is required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
