Vice President of Technology - Dallas, TX (Onsite)
Lead infrastructure strategy, security, resilience, and technology operations at Axxess. Support the enterprise systems powering a global home-care technology ecosystem.
Description
- Lead an infrastructure team in delivering the organization’s technology and infrastructure strategy
- Collaborate with DevOps, Engineering, SecOps, and partner teams on infrastructure planning and deployment
- Advise on infrastructure upgrades, performance, cost efficiency, and alignment with business objectives
- Oversee business continuity, disaster recovery, backup, and resilience programs
- Define and uphold security standards for networks, infrastructure platforms, cloud environments, and servers
- Create, maintain, and strengthen enterprise backup, continuity, and disaster recovery strategies
- Direct the installation, configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle management of enterprise systems and infrastructure services
- Oversee network technologies including firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, and wireless access points
- Improve change management, risk management, and operational governance practices
- Manage the installation, configuration, and ongoing support of information systems
- Recruit, mentor, and develop infrastructure and operations personnel
- Oversee infrastructure budgets, vendor partnerships, licensing agreements, and technology investments
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, or a related discipline is required
- A master’s degree is preferred
- Advanced credentials such as ITIL, public cloud, or related infrastructure certifications are preferred
- At least 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, shared services, and advanced data center management is required
- At least 5 years of leadership experience managing infrastructure teams and major technology initiatives, with a hands-on leadership approach, is required
- Demonstrated success delivering complex infrastructure projects and operating mission-critical environments
- Experience designing disaster recovery, business continuity, and backup strategies for enterprise organizations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Experience overseeing infrastructure budgets, vendor relationships, and service providers
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a demanding environment
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Deep knowledge of system and network engineering across varied infrastructure environments
- Ability to work from the Dallas office; this role is not remote
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in and currently reside in the United States
