Join Valmet in Mumbai as an engineer focused on Power BI, inventory planning, and data management. The role supports reporting automation, service excellence, and operational improvement across the Flow Control Business Area.

Description

  • Build and manage Power BI dashboards using Salesforce, SharePoint, MDS IB databases, Excel, and other source systems
  • Promote the use of historical data and statistical analysis to evaluate performance across the Flow Control Business Area
  • Help the sales team identify potential growth opportunities
  • Work with international stakeholders to automate reporting processes
  • Assist with inventory planning activities
  • Keep warehouse, spare-parts, and product master data accurate and up to date
  • Support customers and ensure service documentation remains accurate and high quality
  • Assist with installation and commissioning work
  • Deliver service projects
  • Enhance reporting capabilities and uncover opportunities for operational improvement
  • Support service excellence, inventory planning programs, and ongoing process improvement

Requirements

  • Three to six years of relevant experience in engineering, technical service, service support, or a comparable field
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline
  • Practical experience creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Knowledge of combining data from Salesforce, SharePoint, Excel, databases, and other systems
  • Understanding of Power BI security features, including Row-Level Security (RLS)
  • Strong analytical ability to turn data into practical business insights
  • Effective communication and experience working with stakeholders
  • Knowledge of inventory planning, master data upkeep, and reporting with Power BI and Excel
  • Ability to independently resolve routine service-related challenges
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to deliver operational and business improvements
