Technical Product Manager, ETF — Dublin (Onsite)

Lead the strategy and delivery of scalable exchange-traded fund products for Brown Brothers Harriman in Dublin. Translate client, market, and business needs into roadmaps, requirements, and Agile product outcomes.

Description

  • Research emerging market needs and identify opportunities for new product development
  • Define the needs of clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders
  • Assess legal, regulatory, technical, and operational conditions affecting product opportunities
  • Design and conceptualize scalable product solutions
  • Convert business needs into well-defined product requirements
  • Develop detailed use cases to guide product development and decisions
  • Help evaluate commercial desirability, viability, technical feasibility, and return on investment
  • Produce functional sketches, schematics, process flows, and prototypes
  • Apply business design methods and knowledge of operational processes
  • Leverage existing product microservices, capabilities, and technology architecture
  • Improve product designs based on feedback from stakeholders, users, and clients
  • Work with Systems, Technology, and Change Management teams on feasibility, costs, and development approaches
  • Set project timelines, deliverables, ownership, risks, and governance arrangements
  • Serve as Product Owner on Agile or Scrum teams when needed
  • Test product and functional assumptions with business stakeholders
  • Align cross-functional teams around delivery of agreed product outcomes
  • Set product adoption goals and measures of success
  • Present product capabilities to clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders
  • Help sales teams explain product capabilities and customer value
  • Collect and apply feedback from clients, prospects, and users
  • Manage client expectations throughout development and implementation
  • Assist with client rollout and product adoption
  • Maintain and advance the product roadmap

Requirements

  • Strong grasp of business operations, with the ability to identify core problems and opportunities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to turn complex challenges into practical product solutions
  • Proactive, forward-looking approach to product development
  • Technical fluency and the ability to influence and sponsor technology initiatives
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL is advantageous
  • Understanding of Agile development and Scrum practices
  • Ability to create clear visual materials with PowerPoint, Visio, or comparable tools
  • Understanding of data challenges and potential technology-based solutions
  • Strong commercial judgment and focus on return on investment
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and advance initiatives
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-influencing skills
  • Ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders
  • Confidence engaging directly with clients and prospects and representing products externally
  • Collaborative relationship-builder across Product, Technology, Operations, Change Management, and other business functions
