Tax Technology Consultant

Support tax technology projects at Ryan through solution design, data analysis, compliance support, and testing. Work with clients and cross-functional teams in a hybrid role.

Description

  • Work with teams to design, implement, and improve business and technology solutions.
  • Help gather requirements, analyze processes and data, configure solutions, and document findings.
  • Review business and system processes and investigate technical questions.
  • Prepare and validate data for consulting engagements and enterprise projects.
  • Assist with implementing and testing technology-enabled solutions.
  • Take part in project planning, status updates, Agile ceremonies, and solution reviews.
  • Prepare client deliverables, reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Collect, extract, reconcile, and analyze client data.
  • Investigate technical and operational issues, then share findings with clients and colleagues.
  • Address client questions and help coordinate with taxing authorities and other external parties.
  • Help maintain project plans, schedules, and stakeholder communications.
  • Travel to client sites when needed.
  • Develop and document business and technical requirements.
  • Assist with solution configuration, implementation, validation, and testing.
  • Create, run, and document test scenarios.
  • Use databases, spreadsheets, reporting tools, and other technologies to process data, perform calculations, and produce reports.
  • Help identify risks, resolve issues, and support quality assurance.
  • Carry out other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, information systems, technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Strong technical skills and/or data analysis experience.
  • Business analyst experience is an advantage.
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Associate degree in a technical or related field, or equivalent education and work experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel independently up to 25% of the time.
