Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related quantitative discipline, such as statistics, economics, operations research, analytics, mathematics, or engineering
  • At least 7 years of experience in software engineering, solution and enterprise architecture, design patterns, cloud computing across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and data architecture
  • Master’s degree in computer science or software engineering preferred
  • Preferred experience includes 10 or more years in software engineering, solution and enterprise architecture, web technologies, distributed HPC and ML systems, cloud computing, and data architecture
  • At least 10 years of professional programming experience with languages such as Go, Java, JavaScript or TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala
  • At least 8 years of experience with databases and database management systems
  • At least 10 years of professional experience spanning the complete software development lifecycle
  • At least 8 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud productivity tools, or virtualization technologies
  • At least 10 years of experience with networking protocols and integrations involving third-party distributed systems
  • At least 5 years of experience mentoring senior engineers and leading technical-team professional development
  • At least 2 years of experience leading cross-domain architecture reviews and setting coding and design standards
  • Expertise in applying agentic AI coding tools strategically
  • Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools, frameworks, or modern software development methods
  • Fintech experience, particularly in payment processing, merchant services, or digital payment architecture
  • Experience delivering enterprise software iteratively, conducting enterprise-scale data migrations, and transforming platforms
  • Experience architecting, testing, and operating real-time distributed data systems and high-volume pipelines
  • Strong sense of ownership and comfort working through ambiguity
  • Ability to serve as a strategic thought partner and constructive challenger to Product, Design, Risk, and Enterprise Technology leaders
