Description

  • Set front-end architecture direction across the NodeZero platform
  • Create scalable, maintainable, reusable UI systems and application patterns
  • Lead major technical initiatives spanning multiple engineering teams
  • Reduce technical debt throughout shared front-end infrastructure
  • Establish and refine front-end standards, best practices, and engineering guidelines
  • Improve application reliability, observability, accessibility, and performance
  • Work with Design to strengthen product consistency and usability
  • Define the long-term technical direction of the front-end platform
  • Enhance shared tooling, component libraries, and developer workflows
  • Advance CI/CD, testing, local development, and review environments
  • Develop reusable frameworks and abstractions that speed feature delivery
  • Write production code with React and TypeScript
  • Review code and deliver rigorous technical feedback
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers throughout development
  • Contribute to technical planning, roadmap discussions, and architecture reviews
  • Resolve complex implementation challenges and provide technical guidance
  • Mentor engineers across multiple teams
  • Strengthen engineering culture, code review quality, and development practices
  • Collaborate with engineering and product leadership
  • Support the development of future technical leaders and architects

Requirements

  • At least eight years of experience building modern, production-scale web applications
  • Deep proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
  • Strong command of modern front-end architecture and application design
  • Track record of leading substantial technical initiatives across multiple teams
  • Experience creating reusable component systems and scalable UI patterns
  • Strong knowledge of state management, asynchronous data flows, and API integration
  • Experience improving front-end performance, reliability, and maintainability
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities across front-end and full-stack systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience mentoring engineers and shaping technical direction
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-moving, collaborative environments with changing priorities
  • Familiarity with GraphQL and modern API-driven architectures
  • Experience working in a monorepo
  • Experience with modern build systems and development tooling
  • Familiarity with cloud-native environments and AWS
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog
  • Experience partnering closely with Product Design and Design Systems
  • Cybersecurity or offensive security experience is preferred
  • Experience using AI-assisted development workflows and engineering tools is preferred
