Software Development Manager, Clinic Marketing — Canada Remote

Lead developers creating AI-powered websites and marketing analytics tools for healthcare practices. Guide zero-to-one SaaS products that help Jane.app clinics grow and serve their communities.

Description

  • Build and develop a team of software engineers through technical and professional coaching
  • Collaborate with product and design to clarify use cases, define scope, and identify data needs
  • Move new products from uncertain concepts and prototypes to released features
  • Set technical direction through architecture reviews and scalable design decisions
  • Take responsibility for delivery, prioritization, and team momentum
  • Help the team balance rapid experimentation with quality and reliability
  • Promote practical, responsible AI use in clinic-facing products and team processes
  • Oversee tools for clinic websites, AI-supported site creation, and marketing analytics
  • Contribute to products that help clinics operate, support patients, and strengthen their communities

Requirements

  • Several years of hands-on software development experience, followed by people-management experience leading a development team
  • A strong technical foundation
  • Ability to review architecture, assess tradeoffs, and shape technical direction with senior and staff developers
  • Experience taking at least one product from initial concept to launch
  • Comfort working through ambiguity and iterating quickly on new products
  • A highly collaborative approach and comfort partnering closely with product and design
  • A coaching mindset with demonstrated success helping teammates develop
  • Composure under pressure, personal accountability, and persistence through delivery
  • Experience using AI tools individually or within a team
  • A curious, practical perspective on where AI can provide meaningful value
  • Experience with marketing tools, website builders, or analytics products is helpful but not required
  • Currently living in Canada
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada without employer sponsorship
  • Jane cannot support relocation, visa sponsorship, or employment through a third party or employer of record
