Services Architect at Tenable (Hybrid)

Lead consulting, training, and enablement offerings for Tenable’s exposure-management cybersecurity portfolio. Own portfolio strategy, technical quality, customer delivery, and Associate Services Architect development.

Description

  • Define the Professional Services portfolio by identifying gaps, evaluating opportunities, and prioritizing offerings that support corporate strategy and product roadmaps.
  • Create and maintain consulting services, enablement resources, educational materials, and technical presentations.
  • Direct the development of complex, strategically important new service offerings.
  • uphold technical, content, and laboratory quality standards throughout the portfolio.
  • Track Tenable product updates and prepare portfolio changes ahead of scheduled releases.
  • Advise the Senior Director of Services Portfolio on offering strategy, resource planning, and delivery risks.
  • Assess user and technical requirements to ensure they are complete, clear, and actionable.
  • Develop collateral and assess offerings and content for accuracy, relevance, and quality.
  • Conduct pre-production training sessions and collect feedback before release.
  • Produce live demonstration recordings for the Tenable product suite.
  • Coordinate content reviews with Services, Technical Support, Customer Success, and Product Management, serving as the final technical release approver.
  • Teach customer courses or deliver professional services engagements as needed.
  • Work with Professional Services colleagues, customers, and partners to assess requirements, market developments, and competitive conditions.
  • Resolve complex issues and contribute to evidence-based business decisions.
  • Serve as the final escalation point for portfolio and content-related issues.
  • Manage assigned projects independently and monitor team-member delivery against schedule and budget.
  • Coach and develop Associate Services Architects.
  • Promote educational frameworks, content-development practices, and technologies that lower costs or shorten development cycles.

Requirements

  • At least five years of professional experience in information security.
  • At least one year of experience in vulnerability management and broader cybersecurity operations, preferably with enterprise assessment platforms such as the Tenable product suite.
  • At least three years of experience in professional services, technical support, or sales engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver technical curricula, training, and customer enablement programs, including leading others in this work.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent experience may be accepted.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and TCP/IP networking.
  • Working knowledge of web application security, container security, AWS and Azure environments, and ICS/SCADA systems, with deep expertise in at least one area.
  • Familiarity with security assessment tools including Nessus, Kali Linux, and Metasploit.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations for senior internal and customer audiences.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders at senior levels.
  • Self-directed, proactive working style with the ability to work remotely and collaborate across a geographically distributed team.
