Senior Technical Project Manager in Mumbai (Hybrid)

Lead Agile technology project delivery for TIAA Global Capabilities in Mumbai, coordinating cross-functional teams and shared-services workstreams. Oversee stakeholders, risks, delivery metrics, resources, and concurrent initiatives.

Description

  • Direct project and program resources and processes to meet scope, schedule, quality, and budget objectives
  • Build project teams, assign ownership, create schedules, and define resource needs
  • Forecast costs, staffing, and timelines for each phase of delivery
  • Distribute resources and work assignments to support project goals
  • Execute approved project plans while tracking progress and performance
  • Track project spending, schedules, and staffing levels
  • Remove delivery blockers and resolve issues that threaten deadlines or budgets
  • Facilitate project meetings and produce recurring status updates
  • Manage external contractors and verify agreed service standards
  • Support, evaluate, and delegate work to junior professionals
  • Guide Agile delivery while improving processes and team effectiveness

Requirements

  • At least five years of professional experience
  • University degree preferred
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams with Agile and Scrum practices
  • Experience running sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
  • Capability to manage complete project delivery across several parallel workstreams
  • Skill in identifying risks and dependencies and developing mitigation plans
  • Strong engagement experience with stakeholders, product owners, and business partners
  • Ability to provide clear status reports, manage escalations, and communicate transparently
  • Proficiency with Agile delivery measures such as velocity, burn-down charts, cycle time, and sprint performance
  • Practical experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or comparable tools
  • Ability to build a collaborative culture across on-site and remote teams
