Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Hybrid, Italy)

Senior site reliability engineering role focused on resilient platforms for Docebo’s AI-powered learning environment. Own incident response, observability, scalability, and reliability improvements across core services.

Description

  • Define SLIs and SLOs with engineering teams and shape long-term reliability plans for core services
  • Coordinate incident response across services during critical outages
  • Advance reliability practices, safer deployments, and infrastructure scalability
  • Develop and improve observability tools that surface issues before they affect production
  • Shape product and system architecture decisions to balance delivery speed with reliability
  • Coach senior engineers and strengthen engineering standards
  • Support recruitment for the SRE organization
  • Design resilient, scalable, high-performance platforms for AI-powered learning experiences

Requirements

  • 6–10 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or production engineering
  • Advanced hands-on experience with complex distributed systems
  • Background managing cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
  • Experience with container orchestration and Infrastructure as Code
  • Ability to produce clean, high-performance code in at least one major programming language
  • Demonstrated leadership in large-scale incident management
  • Track record of delivering high-impact reliability initiatives
  • Strong communication skills across engineering, product, and customer-facing groups
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting platforms such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or New Relic
  • Kubernetes experience, including Amazon EKS
  • Practical experience with AWS and cloud-native infrastructure
  • Experience automating repetitive or manual production work
  • Legal authorization to work in the country of application without current or future visa sponsorship
  • Availability to work in the office three days per week, Tuesday through Thursday
  • Willingness to join an on-call rotation
