Senior Public Sector Solutions Architect at Cyware

Lead cybersecurity solution architecture for federal, state, and local government customers deploying Cyware Cyber Fusion solutions. Design compliant integrations, automation, threat intelligence workflows, and AI-assisted security operations.

Description

  • Lead technical architecture for public-sector post-sales implementations, translating agency requirements into scalable Cyware solutions
  • Design integrations spanning SIEM, EDR, case management, cloud security, and information-sharing platforms for FedRAMP, IL5, and GovRAMP customers
  • Create and maintain reusable use cases and reference architectures for threat intelligence, security automation, autonomous SOC workflows, and collective defense
  • Advise customers on FedRAMP High, NIST 800-53, CMMC, IL5, and GovRAMP compliance and accreditation requirements
  • Develop demonstrations and technical narratives for executives and other decision-makers
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams on emerging AI and agentic capabilities
  • Equip Sales Engineering, Technical Delivery, and Customer Success teams with technical assets, reference architectures, and best practices
  • Support strategic opportunities through solution planning, architecture, and execution
  • Create solution architecture models and supporting documentation
  • Deploy, optimize, and integrate log management and analytics platforms, including ELK-based stacks
  • Define solution strategies for RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires
  • Manage technical relationships with agency stakeholders, systems integrators, and government resellers
  • Represent public-sector requirements to Product and Engineering as the field-facing technical voice
  • Architect Cyware Intel Exchange solutions for ingesting, normalizing, enriching, and operationalizing threat data from multiple sources
  • Advise customers on threat modeling, intelligence-led defense, proactive threat hunting, data governance, indicator lifecycle management, and false-positive reduction
  • Design and implement TIP integrations with enterprise security platforms through APIs, automation, and custom connectors
  • Guide enterprise customers in developing CTI strategies and maturity roadmaps
  • Lead technical discovery workshops and gap assessments
  • Develop customer success plans to increase CTIP return on investment and platform utilization
  • Report to the VP of Solution Delivery & Customer Success

Requirements

  • Based in Northern Virginia or the Washington, DC area, United States
  • United States citizenship required under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(2)(C)
  • At least 10 years of experience in solution architecture, sales engineering, or security architecture, including a record of deploying cybersecurity products for federal customers
  • Experience responding to government RFPs and RFIs and developing architectures for them
  • Active or eligible federal security clearance, or the ability to obtain one
  • At least 3 years of direct security solution architecture experience
  • Strong knowledge of cyber threat intelligence, incident response, and vulnerability management
  • Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, the Cyber Kill Chain, and the Diamond Model
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing security automation and SOAR workflows
  • Experience building Python automation, including playbooks, REST API integrations, and scripts
  • Familiarity with SIEM, EDR/XDR, UEBA, CMDB, NAC, and threat-intelligence enrichment sources
  • Strong understanding of enterprise network architecture, operating systems, and IT security fundamentals
  • Cybersecurity problem-solving experience using automation and established industry practices
  • Ability to whiteboard with security engineers and present to senior executives
  • Ability to work across Product and field teams while enabling other groups
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, or relevant platform-specific security credentials
  • Strong executive presence and ability to connect technical detail to business and mission outcomes
  • Preferred: previous deployment of federal or state, local, and tribal SOC technologies
  • Preferred: experience developing AI agents for practical cybersecurity use cases
  • Preferred: established relationships within DoD, civilian agencies, or SLTT security programs
  • Preferred: AWS GovCloud security certifications
  • Preferred: cybersecurity or SaaS vendor experience supporting a FedRAMP-authorized environment
  • Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer Professional certification
  • Preferred: experience with container security scanning and software supply-chain security, including SBOMs and image signing
  • Preferred: familiarity with SOAR, TIP, or broader cybersecurity product environments
