Description

  • Build software components from design specifications
  • Integrate and test systems, then troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Conduct unit tests for software components
  • Help estimate project work and delivery schedules
  • Work collaboratively with teammates and communicate with project stakeholders
  • Contribute technical guidance to product roadmaps
  • Take part in incident triage, analysis, and prioritization
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD processes
  • Develop and support tailored software for a major European public-sector technology service provider
  • Contribute to a tax administration platform for declarations, calculations, assessments, and external-system integrations

Requirements

  • At least six years of Java development experience
  • Strong experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database system
  • Experience integrating REST and SOAP services and working with Kafka or ActiveMQ messaging
  • Sound understanding of software testing principles
  • Confident English communication skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities with stakeholders and distributed teams
  • Angular front-end development experience is a plus
  • German or Swiss German language skills are a plus
