Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Italy Remote

Description
- Design and maintain Sysdig’s multi-cloud and on-premises infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code
- Improve system reliability, performance, and scalability alongside software development teams
- Join on-call rotations, lead incident response, analyze root causes, and develop lasting preventive measures
- Apply cloud security, data protection, and regulatory compliance standards across all environments
Requirements
- At least five years of practical experience designing and operating large-scale, highly available production infrastructure
- Advanced experience with container orchestration and runtime platforms, particularly Kubernetes and Docker
- A proven ability to automate operational processes, reduce manual effort, and improve system efficiency
- Experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, IBM Cloud, or Azure, plus enterprise observability and monitoring tools
- Strong Python, Go, or Bash scripting or software development skills in Linux environments
- In-depth understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native network architecture
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, continuous improvement, automation, and operational excellence
- An adaptable, self-directed working style with the ability to learn quickly and deliver in changing environments
